Welcome to an exceptional network at IGSSE

Shifting the perspective from a single- to a multi-dimensional view of research at the doctoral level has been the foundation of our graduate school since 2006. IGSSE trains a new generation of young scientists who are experts in their fields but also able to transfer interdisciplinary research visions into practice and collect expert knowledge at TUM and international partner institutions.

Research across the traditional scientific disciplines and within international scientific networks is challenging and rewarding – at all career stages. That is why I am especially proud that the IGSSE concept has become an international role model regarding research development and doctoral education.
