Connecting across different teams and disciplines

IGSSE is TUM's hub to foster interdisciplinary research across the university and blend high-profile research with excellent doctoral training. Next to all of the 14 TUM departments are represented in our project teams and together with our international und industrial partners, IGSSE has built up an unparalleled network of high-profile links into academia and industry.

This outstanding network is fostered via diverse events, ranging from the annual IGSSE Forum, academic initiative workshops and exclusive career fairs to the Martini Colloquium. They aim to connect decision makers of academia and industry with IGSSE researchers of all career stages.

Our supporters appreciate not only the close collaboration across the traditional scientific fields and academic career stages but also the creation of a new generation of responsible and open-minded young leaders, ready to meet the professional challenges. These contacts into academia and industry have been the nucleus for a still growing IGSSE network.
