IGSSE Forum
The annual, three-day symposium encourages our doctoral researchers to look beyond the borders of their disciplines and become aware of solution concepts from divergent scientific fields. Up to 200 participants - from doctoral researchers, project team leaders to principal investigators – join this exceptional event of interdisciplinary networking.
The scientific exchange is complemented by lectures, talks and workshops of changing leitmotifs (e.g. 2016: 'Smart cooperation – Science and technology in, with an for society', 2017: 'Manage your career', 2018: 'Science without borders', 2019: 'Excellence in Science', 2022: 'Responsibility of Science'). Internationally renowned speakers (to date e.g. Nobel Prize Winner Bert Sakmann, Raoul Weiler - Club of Rome, or Fridolin Stary - Head R&D Wacker Chemie) incite discussions and set impulses with exclusive insights into their research and careers.
Check out the recap of 2023s Forum: "Beyond the Doctorate: What comes next?" in our Newsmail from June 2023!
The next IGSSE Forum will take place from 6th – 8th of May in Raitenhaslach!
