In 2019, the IGSSE Board granted 10 new project teams, embracing interdisciplinary research across 6 TUM departments, of which 4 project teams are collaborations with institutions of the EuroTech Universities Alliance, and 2 project teams with universities - in accordance with TUM´s Africa initiative  - on the African continent.
